The idea behind Ed's Eco Adventures was how to spend my retirement years doing what I liked doing best? So far, I've travelled, learned new sports, found places that I never knew about and mainly trying to have fun in human-powered activities, and now electric-powered ones. These days, it's adventure biking, paddle surfing, and paddle fishing in the forefront.

After a lifetime in Florida, I'm excited about how much else there is to see and explore. Long ago, a favorite author of mine, John D. MacDonald, made dire predictions about the future of the environment in Florida, and in many ways he was correct. They haven't paved the whole place over yet, but even in my lifetime, I've seen times when there were more fish, and clearer water. Hopefully, people like me will do our best to preserve what we have left...
